c!aimsey, the towns knight, always just a knock away. c!guqqie, the visitor from humanville (which is definitely a real place) who crash landed in this town. one is searching for home and belonging and the other is desperately trying to get back to their home, their belonging.
c!sunshipduo consists of c!guqqie and c!aimsey, both characters were created and mainly portrayed in 2021, though aimsey went on to play the character further before the finale in 2023!
c!aimsey and c!guqqie met after c!guqqie crash landed on earth. their friendship blossomed as c!guqqie started trying to figure out how to get home, and c!aimsey started trying to figure out things about blooms life.
eventually, c!aimsey makes the decision to leave, run away from this place where they met and knew eachother because they wanted answers, she wanted to find out more about where bloom came from. c!guqqie took this in stride, thinking c!aimsey would be back soon.
after aimsey left, the town emptied out slowly, every other person leaving until it was just guqqie, trying desperately to get back home.
guqqie did everything, gave everything, including their own arm, to try and go home. when they finally got to a point where she thought she finally cracked it, she went back to the town hall to announce their departure to all of nobody who still remained.
but aimsey came back, dressed in new clothes, having been gone for so long now. guqqie and aimsey fought, the fight escalating to guqqie hitting aimsey and ending in aimsey storming off.
they walked away angry, bloom seethed and stomped. they then walked the same way back the next morning, except calmer and more collected. they had prepared an apology and a plan to make things right with c!guqqie, tell her she was blooms home, they didn’t need anything else. she had finally realized that.
but it was too late. guqqie had already thrown herself off of her tower in an act of defeat and desperation. she was tired, she had lost everything.
c!aimsey didn’t allow themselves to move on for another decade, the date of december 21st was always an important one for bloom, it probably always will be, just now they’re more at peace with it.
unfortunately there isn't many vods archived of very early c!guqqie or c!aimsey content, but the most relevant lore for both or either of them is their individual character finales!
there is also attached a masterpost containing all archived c!aimsey vods via youtube/archive.org!

arg!aimsey, arg!guqqie, true star crossed lovers. surely they would always be truthful and considerate of eachother, right?
arg!sunshipduo consists of arg!aimsey and arg!guqqie from guqqie's arg which took place in 2022, though arg!guqqie went on to become a reoccurring character in the sunshipduo multiverse, also known as "hera"
arg!sunshipduo’s story and origins aren’t heavily specified, they live in a universe similar to that of c!sunshipduo, and we know they were in love. the kind of love you’d make movies about, wedding bells in the future, a whole life together waiting for them. everything was perfect.
until one night the lovers are sitting in a flower field, looking at the horizon, and guqqie decides to confess to aimsey that she isn't as human as she claimed. but before she can process anything after saying it she’s stabbed in the chest. she dies bleeding out in the grass.
aimsey, wanting to try and make everything up to guqqie, agrees to be the subject of experiments to do with revival. guqqie kills aimsey over and over and over and over and over and then some, until aimsey dies through drowning.
after this arg!guqqie gives herself a mission, to try and enact revenge on every other aimsey variant, wanting to make them feel the pain she did. so she begins work on research on alternate universes.
au!aimsey, the demon who has always felt out of place. au!guqqie, the (????) who doesn't know much of where she's from. who would've thought they'd love looking up at the stars together.
au!sunshipduo consists of the characters au!guqqie and au!aimsey from area unknown which was created by guqqie in 2022 and is now in its second season!
there are many vods for this server so the easiest way to be caught up is though recap streams both aimsey and guqqie have done which is linked below as well as the official area unknown carrd made by guqqie! my personal favorite vods are also linked that can also make some things more clear! (and they’re just so cool and devastating)
highly recommend knowing of c! and arg! sunshipduo/watching the prior linked videos for more context of certain plot points

r!sunshipduo consist of r!aimsey and r!guqqie from rats smp, their involvement with the server was just a guest appearance so its very easy to be caught up on! linked below are two different povs in different formats that you can choose from!
con!sunshipduo consisted of the characters con/o!aimsey and con!guqqie from conclusions smp!
aimsey later went on to join origins and the server was very short lived so its easier to catch up on! both aimsey and guqqies vods are all linked below!
bonus! guqqie also wrote a short thread on their alt twitter detailing an ending for con!guqqie after the server ended, which you can read below!

s!sunshipduo consists of s!aimsey (sailor) and s!guqqie (siren)! these characters and their universe were lovingly crafted by mars marzley_, star lua lunarhorrors and kawa kawaspell!
since the creation of s!sunshipduo, both aimsey and guqqie have contributed to it, including recording their own parts as the characters and posting photos of them wearing skins designed by mars!
these characters and their story is incredibly well made by these three community members and i couldn't recommend it enough!
